Yield: 5 servings
- 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 teaspoon season salt (or ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon onion powder and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder)
- 2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
Combine oil and popcorn in a large kettle and heat on the stove top over medium-high heat.
When popcorn has finished popping, remove from heat.
Immediately add seasonings and mix well. Enjoy!
For a little added kick, try adding ground cayenne pepper
To lower salt, try substituting Papa Dash (does contain potassium) or Mrs. Dash, Chipotle. (I recommending grinding it before adding to popcorn to help it stick better.)
